A day in the life: Worms?

Wow, never knew you were into that, have never tried it myself but always seems to work well on the discovery channel :)

I'm going to just build a big worm reactor outside the house. There's just so much garbage and little worms in a little bin weren't cutting it for me. That and the mold + bugs problem. An outdoor reactor should give them enough space and I won't have to worry so much about keeping the creepy crawlies out.

Guess those red wigglers you bought worked out.

Yea I think a flow through reactor would be the best way to go for composting. No need to empty the bins every 4 weeks or so. Just put in food at the top and harvest the black gold on the bottom. Here are some plans on how to build a reactor like that. http://www.klickitatcounty.org/solidwaste/Files...

Dude, that's awesome. Hey, are you willing to sell the worms you raise to fisherman, cause I'd buy some healthy worms like that.
